Camp Ho'ohana 2024 Programs
June 2024 Kickoff to Summer Camp
Our camp offers everything you could imagine for the outdoor-loving, adventure-seeking middle schooler: beekeeping lessons and practice with respected and a holistic Maui beekeeper, leatherwork with talented handwork teachers, introduction to woodworking and bow making, traditional fishing pole design, and plenty of time for fishing and archery! We'll conclude our camp with natural shelter building and an overnight camp out in the structures we create!
This program encourages pre-teens and early teens to find their strength, reconnect with nature, and build a strong bond with their peers. Students will come home with multiple handmade keepsakes that they can use for future outdoor expeditions.

The last day will include a camp-out where students will get to put their shelters to the test! Students will have a campfire, camp dinner, smores, live music, stories, games, and multiple chaperones to ensure safety and fun!
